Kevin Dempsey

Kevin Dempsey joined Tecan in 2023 as Sr. Director of Business Development. Kevin brings over 30 years experience of working with organizations to deliver premium quality, innovative products to their customers. Kevin’s role is to connect innovators with the world class team of Scientists and Engineers at Tecan to enable our clients to develop truly groundbreaking technologies that have a real impact on people's lives. Prior to joining Tecan, Kevin held technical engineering roles in the Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industries. Worked extensively across Europe, the Americas and Asia developing, implementing, sustaining, and improving manufacturing process technology to drive the highest value for many and varied stakeholders. Kevin holds patents for product and process innovation and has authored papers that have been published in scientific and engineering peer reviewed journals. Kevin holds a B.Sc. in Biology, B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics and Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin.
