
Robert Brooks
Robert Brooks is the Founder & CEO of ForceN where he’s spent the past 9 years developing force/torque sensing uniquely designed for complex & unstructured applications across surgical, logistics, space, humanoid, nuclear, & food/agricultural robotics. ForceN was originally motivated by his PhD work on next generation sensing & actuation for surgical robots at the University of Toronto & through his previous work experience in early unstructured robotics across the nuclear, heavy manufacturing manufacturing, field, & medical robotics industries. He works to help grow & accelerate the complex & unstructured robotics ecosystem by sharing what he’s learned through his career working for and developing sensing systems to enable world leading robot OEMs.
