Christopher Biow

Chris Biow is the CEO of RT8, the U.S. representatives for Sixdof Space, an Israeli startup specializing in millimeter-precise remote position and orientation for robotic applications using infrared beacons. This cutting-edge technology allows surgical robotic arms operating from multiple cabinets to work collaboratively, orienting themselves precisely in location and rotation with respect to each other. Chris holds a BS in Mathematics from the US Naval Academy, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, and postgraduate research on application of quadtrees for computationally efficient spatial data structures. His career includes service as a Radar Intercept Officer (RIO) in the US Navy’s F-14 Tomcat, and as a technologist and mission application specialist with the Naval Research Lab and Office of Naval Research. Chris has broad experience applying advanced technologies in artificial intelligence, spatial applications, and deep tech. Before leading RT8, he drove the go-to-market strategy for Rosette, a text analytics AI product, achieving over a tenfold growth in value from 2015 to 2023.
