Thomas Wenchell

Tom is the CEO and Co-Founder of RevMedica, a medical device company based in Middletown, CT. RevMedica is developing a next-generation laparoscopic and robotic stapling platform that provides surgeons with real-time intelligence, feedback, and superior performance, along with safety features that have earned the company acceptance into the FDA’s Safer Technologies Program (STeP). An engineer by training, Tom brings over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. His career began at US Surgical, where he started as an entry-level manufacturing engineer and eventually rose to Director of Research & Development at Medtronic. Tom has extensive expertise in all aspects of product development and commercialization, with a focus on design, intellectual property, quality, regulatory compliance, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and clinical applications. He is also a named inventor on over 100 proprietary designs.
