Nar Ramkissoon is Program Director, Improving Health Outcomes at the American Medical Association. Nar oversees programs and policy efforts that enable physicians, care teams, and patients to better prevent cardiovascular disease. He leads the US Blood Pressure Validated Device Listing (VDL), an initiative to help clinicians and patients identify blood pressure devices that have been validated for clinical accuracy. His expertise spans medical devices, remote monitoring, digital health innovation, coding and payment, and insurance coverage. Nar has a background in healthcare consulting and holds a Master of Public Health from DePaul University.
