Ann Marie Joyce

Dr. Ann Marie Joyce is a staff gastroenterologist who started in November of 2023 at GastroHealth of Acton. Dr. Joyce attended medical school at the National University of Ireland in Galway, Ireland. She did her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center. She completed a fourth-year fellowship in advanced endoscopy at the University of Pennsylvania. After a short stay on staff at UPenn, she was asked to return to Lahey where she served as Director of Endoscopy and the main advanced endoscopist for several years. She is well known in the field of advanced endoscopy. She has interests in ERCPs, EUS, complex colon polyps, pancreatic cancer screening, resection of early cancers, palliative stenting and other advanced endoscopist procedures. She received 3 “teacher of the year” awards and started an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Lahey in 2022. She was nominated and participated in the ASGE Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) program. She is a founding member of NEWEndo, which is a group focusing on the needs of female providers in GI community in the New England area.
