A seasoned healthtech entrepreneur and medical device innovator, Peter Verrillo has over two decades of leadership experience in orthopedics and surgical technology. Currently, Peter is the founder and CEO of Redefine Surgery, a Techstars Boston and MassRobotics company, where he and his team are pioneering the development of an intelligent Operating Room by using Spatial AI-driven robotics to build a general AI for surgery. Previously, as the founder and CEO of Enhatch, he built a cutting-edge medical technology company that streamlined surgical implant workflows from pre-operative planning to the operating room, raising over $25M in venture funding and achieving profitability. He successfully merged multiple products into a unified AI-driven platform, serving 30+ clients and driving significant revenue growth after securing a major investment and 9 figure exit to the leading 3D printing company. Previously, Peter played key roles at Tornier and Nexa Orthopedics, where he spearheaded the development of market-leading shoulder replacement systems. Earlier in his career at Stryker, he led the evolution of flagship knee and hip replacement products, contributing to billions in revenue. Throughout his career, Peter has driven innovation, built high-performing teams, and navigated multiple successful exits, including the acquisitions of Axiom Orthopaedics by Nexa and Nexa by Tornier. He has also participated in top accelerator programs like Dreamit Ventures, Blueprint Health, Techstars and MassRobotics solidifying his expertise at the intersection of medtech, AI, and surgical innovation.
