Aaron Prather

Aaron Prather is the Director of Robotics and Autonomous Systems at ASTM International. In this role, he works with the F45 Committee on Robotics, Automation, and Autonomous Systems to develop new standards. He also oversees advisory services, training, and certification efforts for robotics within ASTM and its sister organizations. Aaron developed and deployed robotics and autonomous systems into numerous global operations in his previous role with FedEx, where he worked for nearly 27 years prior to joining ASTM International He has also participated in standards development at both A3 (formerly RIA), UL, IEEE, and ISO. Aaron is passionate about working with workforce development programs and building up the 21st-century workforce in manufacturing, logistics, robotics, and automation.
