Bingda (Bing) Li is the co-founder and CEO of Mito Robotics, where he is developing an AI-powered robotic scientist for research-scale cell culture automation. By combining the computational power of AI with the precision of robotic operation, the system delivers unparalleled reproducibility, scalability, flexibility, and efficiency to accelerate life science research. Bing is a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, researching cell therapy for organ transplantation in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic. During his research, he encountered the bottlenecks of manual cell culture processes, inspiring him to build Mito Robotics and create a robotic scientist that empowers human researchers to advance scientific discovery.
