Steve Dertien

As the EVP of Customer and Technology Partnerships at PTC, Steve Dertien is responsible for fostering strategic customer relationships and promoting the adoption of PTC's products. With a strong technical background from his previous role as PTC’s Chief Technology Officer, Steve's expertise in emerging technologies, such as cloud and generative/agentic AI, and his experience as a Chief Architect in PTC’s professional services, enables him to connect innovation and value for customers by aligning business objectives with the overall technology strategy. Furthermore, he manages key technology partnerships to support the technical capabilities of PTC's solutions. In addition to his role at PTC, Steve serves as the PTC corporate sponsor for the Manufacturing @ MIT Initiative and is a member of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council’s Technology and Innovation Advisory Board. Steve earned a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Ferris State University in Michigan.
