Joe Forkey

Dr. Joseph Forkey brings over thirty years of experience in inter-disciplinary optical technology in the medical device and defense/aerospace markets in both academic and industrial settings. Joe is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the company and ensuring that appropriate resources are available and properly deployed to achieve corporate goals. Joining POC in 2003, Joe took over as CEO in 2011 and has built and led a highly competent team of technology, business, and manufacturing experts to achieve significant company growth through increased customer engagement and targeted acquisitions. He continues to be engaged in understanding advances in optical and imaging technologies and commercial market dynamics to pursue strategic partnerships and to translate new technical opportunities into next-generation products that enable advanced customer requirements and business growth.
