Dr. Donna Brezinski, a Harvard-trained, board-certified pediatrician and neonatologist, is the CEO and Founder of Little Sparrows Technologies and inventor of bili-hut™, a portable neonatal phototherapy device that significantly outperforms competitors while remaining compact and user-friendly. Bili-hut has earned global recognition, including endorsements from the World Health Organization (WHO), a "Saving Lives at Birth" award from the Gates Foundation, and a Patents for Humanity Award from the USPTO for its impact on urgent humanitarian needs. Beyond its success in the U.S. as a cost-effective alternative to NICU admission, bili-hut is addressing a global mission by saving newborn lives across four continents, including in resource-limited settings in India and Peru where Dr. Brezinski has created and led educational and training programs on neonatal jaundice care. Building on this success, Dr. Brezinski and the Little Sparrows Technologies team have continued to expand its neonatal jaundice solutions to make care more accessible and affordable worldwide, and is developing new innovations in neonatal developmental care.
