Saumik Biswas

Dr. Saumik Biswas is the CEO, President, and Founder of Tenomix, a medical technology company dedicated to developing novel medical solutions that enhance pathology workflow efficiencies, optimize cancer care, and reduce healthcare costs. He earned his doctoral degree in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine from Western University and completed the Medical Innovation Fellowship program at Western University, where he met his founding team members. Recognized for his achievements, Dr. Biswas was named as a young trailblazer and one of London’s Top 20 in their 20s by Business London. He was also featured on the cover of Schulich’s School of Medicine and Dentistry Alumni Rapport Magazine at Western University. His company has been highlighted as one of the top 100 startups to watch in 2024. Under his leadership, Tenomix secured over $4M in non-dilutive and dilutive funding, including an oversubscribed $2.1M pre-seed round in 2023. He has published 16 manuscripts, won several prestigious awards, and established clinical partnerships with top-tier North American hospitals.
