Kali Hamilton
Kali Hamilton joined Scythe as the company’s first field robotics hire, leveraging her extensive startup experience to establish and grow Scythe's field program from the ground up. Thriving at the chaotic intersection of testing and field operations, she excels at hunting down reliability issues across the entire robotics stack. Kali led key company-wide initiatives to improve fleet management and debugging tools, transforming concepts into actionable projects. She also led Scythe’s run-in testing program—an ambitious eight-month reliability engineering effort that put 100+ robots through thousands of runtime hours. Before joining Scythe, Kali worked as a field robotics engineer at Tortuga AgTech, where she led teams deploying and maintaining multiple generations of strawberry-picking robot fleets, and at GreenSight, contributing to federally funded robotics projects. Passionate about leveraging accurate and accessible data to empower field teams, she is often found investigating and solving data-related issues. Beyond her professional achievements, Kali is committed to environmental stewardship. She volunteers as a committee member for BikesTogether, a bicycle recycling nonprofit, and participates in local clean-ups and trail maintenance throughout the Denver area.
